Vendor Requirements

Uptown, Minneapolis

  • You must own a food truck (unless you are grandfathered in from past years)
  • Minneapolis Mobile Food Vendor license OR Special Events Permit OR Short Term Food Vendor Permit. All Short Term Vendor Permits must be submitted before May 25th. 
  • Food Trucks must only have FOUR menu items (plus beverages). At least ONE of these items needs to be a smaller portion size and sold at $4 or $5. Beverages do not qualify as a $4 or $5 item. Alternatively, all four of your food items can also be sold as regular AND portion size if you wish. Example. (***This does NOT pertain to beverage or dessert ONLY trucks as their item price points are lower already) 
  • You are free to sell bottled Water and Pop at $2 or more. You CANNOT sell water or pop for less than $2. The festival will have a specific location with water for sale so don’t worry about heavily stocking up on that this year.

Anoka

You must own a food truck (we have 2 trailers that have been grandfathered into the events)

  • You must carry the Minnesota Department of Health OR Agriculture Mobile Food Vendor license or apply for a STP short term permit.

• The city of Anoka requires that your generator be “quiet - rated” and produce 58 decibels or less. This will be heavily enforced. 

• At least ONE of those menu items needs to be a $4 or $5 item. (Beverages do not qualify as that item. Those who do not comply will not be considered for next years events.) 

St.Paul

• You must own a food truck (we have 2 trailers that have been grandfathered into the events)

  • You must carry the Minnesota Department of Health OR Agriculture Mobile Food Vendor license or apply for a STP short term permit.

Vendor Fees 

Uptown

$685 for MFTA Members. $1000 for non MFTA Members (**Beverage & Dessert Only trucks - we have a discounted vendor fee for Beverage & Dessert only trucks, on a truck to truck basis) 

A $400 deposit is due upon application approval and will reserve your spot in the festival. The remaining vendor fee will be collected on the day of the festival. 

Anoka

 $300 for MFTA Members. $450 for non MFTA Members. 

A $300 deposit is due upon application approval and will reserve your spot in the festival. The remaining vendor fee will be collected on the day of the festival. (**No remaining fee if you are an MFTA member) 

St.Paul

 $475 for MFTA Members. $600 for non MFTA Members. 

A $300 deposit is due upon application approval and will reserve your spot in the festival. The remaining vendor fee will be collected on the day of the festival.


If you are signing up for all three at once - the only way to secure your spot is with a deposit. 

On the application form- checking each box SIGNS your truck up for that event. A deposit is the only way to secure your spot. If you would like to sign up for all three at once but cannot put deposits down for all three right now, we will keep you on the list and accept deposits until 1 month prior to each event. Alternatively, you can send individual checks for each event and we will not cash the checks for the later events until 1 month prior to the event.
